2013 Candidates for Atlanta Board of Education in District 6

Just a reminder that our neighborhood will have a chance to vote for a new Atlanta Board of Education member in the election in November.  Whether you have children or not it is important for you to educate yourself on the candidates running and get out and vote.  An active Board Members means that we have someone advocating for high quality education in our area whether it is Early childhood education, Pre-K, traditional public schools, Charter schools, or even the repurposing of old school buildings.  Two candidates running for District 6, which covers the Capitol View, Capitol View Manor, and Sylvan Hills areas are Eshe Collins and Shawnna Hayes-Tavares.  More information about both candidates can be found at the links below:
